AMESHIN

Went to an “Amezaiku” Japanese candy workshop! I had a go at making a rabbit... Arts and crafts was never my strong point, haha. Tasted delicious, tho! Amazing how detailed the candy was - cats, fish...

Best leave it to the teacher, next time!
On our way to Kagurazaka, we wandered through...

KAKURENBO yokocho

...Kakurenbo Yokocho! They say if you can find a heart-shaped stone among the cobbles here, you will find love. Needed some hints from the locals, but found one eventually! Now just waiting for the man of my dreams to appear, LOL.

KAKURENBO yokocho

Kakurenbo Yokocho alley connects Kagurazaka Nakadori Street and Hyogo Yokocho alley. As well as many interesting, tucked-away shops, this cobbled street has heart-, star-, and diamond-shaped stones that visitors can enjoy looking for.

From Kakurenbo Yokocho we walked for a while, and eventually arrived at la kagu in Kagurazaka. This place has everything! Clothes, household goods, books, artwork - and a cafe! The building was built in the 60s and has a nice, relaxing vibe.
